Haq Group 5th Annual Mehfil-e-Milad attracted people from all over UK & Europe

OLDHAM: Special programmes are always organised in mosques in the Month of Rabi Ul Awal ( Islamic Calendar) in the UK and Worldwide. The mosques around Britain are beautifully decorated with colourful lights, Mehfil-e-naat (couplets recited in praise of Prophet Mohammad) are also held at many places. Naat Reciters shed light on various facets of the illustrious life of Prophet Mohammad( SAW) through couplets and urged for observing peace in the society.

Haq Group is also known for organising Naat Mehfils in Britain. The group consist of young British Pakistani Muslims, who are working hard for past five years in organising what is believed to be the biggest Mehfil e Naat in Britain. This was Haq Groups 5th Annual Mehfil-e-Naat to coincide with the holy month of Rabi ul Awal.

On the occasion, British Scholar Imam Asim was the chief guest, who delivered a special sermon on significance of the holy month of Rabi ul Awal and its importance for the Muslims and also prayed for the progress, peace and prosperity of Muslim Ummah.

“Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stressed on tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity and such occasions give an opportunity to the Muslims for recalling the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH), Sadly we are not following the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) any more, for global peace Muslims in power need to play their role more effectively” He said.

During the Mehfil, World renowned Naat Khawans, Qari Shahid Mahmood Qadri, Ahmed Raza Qadri, Dr Nisar Marfani, Prince Naseeb, Talha Tariq, Hashmat Khan and others presented Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool and Darood-o-Salam.

Haq Group Milad Committee member Popy while speaking Exclusively about the event said,” Prophet (SAW) was sent to this world by Allah Almighty as a model for mankind to follow and succeed in the life, our youths a few years back were not involved in such things but we are glad that with our Imams and Naat khawans constant efforts now mosques are full once again. Youths are attending these events in large number. In our 5th Mehfil we have people from all over UK, Denmark other parts of Europe and some people have also came especially for this Mehfil all the way from Pakistan.”

Young Oldham Naat Khawan Talha Tariq Said,” I am delighted to recite Naat in today’s Mehfil, it give me great pleasure to see full house here in Oldham especially young kids.”

At the End of the Mehfil Palestine And Umrah tickets were given through a draw. The Mehfil was held at AlMadina Jammia Masjid Waterloo Street in Oldham.
